By taking part, you confirm you’ve read and accepted these conditions. If the rules are breached, access may be limited, entries may be voided, or a prize may be declined where permitted.

Eligibility

Using Shield Sweep services depends on meeting the points below:

  • Age requirement: Participants must be at least 19 years old, in line with provincial rules in Canada
  • Location: The service is intended for residents of Canadian provinces where online participation is allowed by law
  • Verification: Identification can be requested when confirming eligibility for a prize claim
  • One profile: One person may keep a single active account at a time

Account Responsibilities

If you hold an account, you are expected to:

  • Keep your personal details accurate and up to date
  • Protect your login details and avoid sharing access
  • Inform us promptly about suspicious activity or unauthorized sign-ins
  • Follow applicable laws, rules, and regulatory requirements

We may pause or close accounts when terms are not followed or where activity appears unusual.

Participation Rules

  • Entries become valid after payment confirmation is recorded
  • Draw timing and prize formats can be updated with prior notice where possible
  • Results are considered final once announced through official channels
  • Unclaimed prizes are managed in line with regulatory guidance
  • If a technical issue affects an entry, it may be cancelled and refunded under the applicable policy

Payments and Prizes

  • All payments are handled in Canadian dollars (CAD)
  • Entry fees generally are not refundable, except where an error policy applies
  • Prize payouts follow the platform’s established processing timelines
  • Any tax duties connected to winnings are handled by the winner

Liability Limits

Where permitted by law, Shield Sweep and related parties are not responsible for:

  • Service interruptions, delays, or limited availability
  • Losses connected to unauthorized access to an account
  • Indirect damages that may arise from using the service
  • Mistakes in publishing results or calculating a prize, where corrected by official records

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continuing to use the services indicates acceptance of the revised version. If changes are significant, registered users will be informed.
